1) When you join this game you take on a responsibility to the other players in the game. This includes not delaying the game without a reason, and continuing to play until the bitter (or sweet) end.
2) If you have to quit from this game, please tell the GM in advance (if you can). Also remember to give him the reason _why_ you have to resign.
3) If you violate rule 2),your name will be added to a list of "offenders" maintained by the GM's participating in the Rannestad Convention. All GM's agreeing to the Rannestad Convention have agreed to prohibit players on this list from playing in future RC games they GM.
4) If you have been added to the list of offenders stated in rule 3 above, and you feel that you were added unfairly, you have the right to appeal first to the GM who added you to the list, and then to the group of GM's operating under the convention rules. You should note that if the Rannestad Convention gets a reputation for blacklisting players for no good reason, then it will lose all credibility within the diplomacy community and become ineffective.
